“I suppose I see my paintings as those weird little gremlins and worlds that are playing out at the back of your mind that you are not really aware of. I guess drawing and painting are a way of kind of digging them up and bringing them into the real world” - Tom

Tom has always loved drawing and painting and remembers drawing a lot of dinosaurs whilst growing up. He was always interested in monsters and other creepy things and as a child he has had recurring nightmares where his dreams and reality become one, this has all carried across in to his Artwork today. After completing his degree at Southend College in 2007 Tom founded Tenbomb Artwork with a friend and fellow Artist, Ben Billups. During this time Tom developed most of his practical skills and at Tenbomb he read books and learnt about screen printing, airbrushing, large scale murals and also developed his oil painting technique. Tom continues his work with Tenbomb as well as working independently. July 2014.
